In 1916 the World as we know it was in turmoil. As Great Britain fought heavily in WW1; Dublin, the second city of the empire was to become the centre of an Easter rebellion that although minor in size would shape the destiny of Irish people forever. With the main focus on the rising in Dublin under the direction of Padraig Pearse other smaller insurrections broke out around the country. Was an older ship launched in 1909 and .

This site is the beginning of my fight back. An attempt to see if I can indeed alter the course of that flow and make my photographic decisions for my own reasons. To make a return to the style of photography that, in hindsight, resonated most strongly with me over the years and perhaps revisit some of my earlier work from a time before even I realized what I wanted to do creatively.
